  • Work with the Chief & Council to focus all our resources to continually strengthen our education program
Priority #4-Implement a "Parent / Student Advocate"
  • Provide additional support to students and parents, when addressing concerns Priority #5-Improve community awareness and support for Listuguj Mi'gmaq education
    • We need to find more ways to talk with parents, listen to concerns and suggestions, and act on them
    • We need to deal with misinformation, poor perception by some people
      1. We need to show people the facts, the evidence
      2. Former students and parents have positive things to say
    • Continue to work with Chief & Council

Our Priorities for 2008-2009: How will we proceed?

To work with the LED Administrators to develop "action plans" and budget estimates for each priority.

    • Monitor actions plans for 2008-2009 and recommend amendments and or changes when necessary.

It is the belief of the Listuguj Education Advisory Board that it takes a community to raise a child.
